1 Preliminary remarks
In the following, the company Convins (hereinafter referred to as Convins )
informs you (hereinafter referred to as customer )
how in this portal under consideration of the EU Basic data protection regulation (DS-GVO) and the German Federal Privacy Act (BDSG) data and personal data are processed.
3 Data collection
This portal records
- Data that the customer enters himself
- Data, which the portal collects for security or legal reasons about the use of its services in anonymous log files (visited pages, date and time, IP address)
4 Processing and storage of data

Certain data and personal data may be contained in the data records and archives of Convins for a certain period of time after deletion for reasons of ongoing data backup in compliance with applicable laws. Convins does not use this data.
5 Server log files
The tele media service provider stores additional information, which browsers transmit automatically in server log files. These are:
- Pages visited
- Date and time of the server request
- Browser type and version
- Operating system in use
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- IP address
The server log files are saved for 30 days and then deleted.
The server log files are saved for security reasons (e.g. to detect and clarify data misuse).
If server log files have to be saved for reasons of evidence, they are excluded from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.
These server log files are not merged with other data.
6 Use of data
- Convins uses collected data in order to provide services requested by customer.
- Convins uses log files exclusively to ensure the security of the portal and to meet legal documentation requirements.
7 Security of Data
Computer systems or mobile connections are never 100 percent secure for technical reasons.
Convins provides appropriate state-of-the-art protection for the specific processing of data: protection objectives are confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of systems and services
The customer is responsible for the confidential handling of his access codes.
Convins accepts no liability for possible abuse of data.
8 Data deletion
The customer may immediately delete himself his data at any time .
Non-public data and personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage no longer applies..
Exceptions to the immediate deletion are data for which there are statutory provisions and retention periods:
- Commercial law retention requirements for business letters in accordance with § 257 (1) HGB (German Commercial Code) (6 years)
- Tax law retention requirements according to § 147 1 AO (10 years)
9 Cookies and similar technologies
The setting of cookies can be monitored, restricted or prevented with a web browser.
Web browsers can be configured so that cookies are automatically deleted when the program is closed.
Deactivating cookies can result in limited functionality of this portal.
If you contact us via the contact form, the transmitted information is stored.
Without the consent of the customer this information will not be passed on to third parties.
The information transmitted remains with Convins until the customer requests Convins to delete it, revokes its consent to storage or there is no longer any need to save it.
Mandatory legal provisions - especially retention periods - remain unaffected.
11 Referrals and third party products
The services of Convins can refer to third party websites that are beyond the control of Convins. Convins is not responsible for the security or privacy of data collected from websites or other third party services.
Convins may also provide the customer with certain products or services that have been developed by third parties. Convins is not liable for these products or services.
This portal allows payments via PayPal.
When paying with PayPal, the entered payment data is transmitted to PayPal.
13 Rights of the Customer
The customer has the following rights:
- Right to information.
- Right to access.
- Right to rectification.
- Right to erasure.
- Right to restrict processing.
- Right to object to processing.
- Right to object to automated Processing.
- Right to data portability.
- Right to lodge a complaint.
- Right for the help of supervisory authority.
- Right to withdraw consent.
The Customer may exercise these rights simply by explanation via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If the customer requests or carries out the deletion of personal data, requests processing restrictions, objects to opposition or revocation, the customer acknowledges that he may not be able to use or access services anymore.
Convins has a statutory period of notice of four weeks for processing the Customers concerns, which can be extended by an additional four weeks in exceptional cases.
Convins may refuse to process requests that endanger the privacy of others or are abusive.
Convins may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to its web pages for any breach of this agreement or the Convins Terms and Conditions if it is necessary to protect the rights or property or the safety of Convins or any of our affiliates, business associates, employee or customers.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively.
Jurisdiction is Munich, Germany.
